SDP Chief Mechanic Job

Reports to: Operations / Talent Development



Job Purpose:


This position offers a unique opportunity to participate in a Supervisor Development Program for Chief Mechanics within

Arabian Drilling (AD). Selected candidates will undergo a comprehensive training program designed to equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in a supervisory role. The program combines classroom learning, on-the-job training, and practical experience on offshore or onshore drilling rigs, fostering a well-rounded understanding of mechanical equipment operations, maintenance procedures, and leadership principles.

Mechanical Maintenance and Operations (Offshore/Onshore):


Leadership and Supervision (Gradual):

Total Years of Experience (Minimum)


Entry-level position up to 3 years of experience


Relevant Experience


• Experience with troubleshooting and diagnostics of mechanical systems (a plus).


• Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures and scheduled inspections (a plus).

Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering
