Saudi Aramco Nabors Drilling Company (SANAD) Jobs Vacancies 2025

Saudi Aramco Nabors Drilling Company, or SANAD, is a 50/50 joint venture partnership between Saudi Aramco and Nabors. SANAD is one of the anchor projects that has emerged from Saudi Arabia's efforts to introduce world-class industry hubs locally, in order to foster economic growth and job creation. Nabors and Saudi Aramco have made contributions of equal value consisting of cash and/or assets into the entity. Additionally, Nabors and Saudi Aramco have agreed that SANAD will purchase and operate fifty (50) locally-sourced newly constructed rigs over a ten year period, at defined contracted economics.

1. TOOLPUSHER

Role:

• To demonstrate and promote safety leadership.
• Assist the Rig Manager.
• Take responsibilities if Rig Manager should be away from the rig.
• Assist Drillers and crewmembers if they need any help or guidance.
• Assist Operator Rep. if he needs any help.
• Maintain good relations between Operator Rep. and Nabors.

 

Responsibilities:

• Personally responsible for own safety and conducting ones self to the standards of Nabors Policies and Procedures
• Assist Rig Manager as needed.
• Provide Drillers and crewmembers help and guidance as needed.
• Make sure jobs being performed are carried out as safely and efficiently as possible.
• Assist Rig Manager in the planning and preparation of upcoming jobs on rig.
• Participate and be involved in all safety meetings and drills.
• If something is being done in an unsafe manner stop it and correct the situation and always explain your actions for doing so
• Work together with everyone on rig as a team and always be a team player.
• Always practice good leadership habits
• Keep a good attitude about your job and surroundings.
• Observe work habits of everyone on rig and make sure they are being carried out to Nabors standards.
• Be involved in smart program at all times.
• Assist Drillers in delegating work for crewmembers and seeing it is carried out.
• Know your rig and equipment and make sure it is maintained properly at all times.
• Assist Electricians and Mechanics if needed to work on equipment or perform preventive maintenance as required.
• Assist in making sure all paperwork is done on time and filled out properly.
• Assist Operator Rep. in any matter he has concerning the rig or well if needed.
• Help in maintaining a good working relationship between Rig and Operator
• Conducting or ensuring that monthly rig inspections are performed.
• Immediate reporting of all accidents, incidents and near misses
• Ensure understanding of, and compliance with, Nabors permit to work system.

Minimum years of experience:

10 Years in drilling and workover operations or a demonstrated progression of relevant assignments.

2 years in present position.

Qualifications:

High School or Equielent and above. Good knowledge of English.

2. FLOORHAND

Description The Floorman is responsible for working the rig floor during drilling operations and performing duties as needed to make rig and operation run smoothly.   Role: Work rig floor when operating. Keep work areas clean at all times. Assist wherever needed around rig. Responsibilities: Personally responsible for own safety and conducting oneself to the standards of Nabors Policies and Procedures Work on rig floor when drilling and tripping. Always keep work areas clean and make a safe working environment. Attend and participate in all safety meeting and drills. Be involved in the Smart Program Always be aware of your surroundings and pay attention when working tongs or operating air hoists. Always use proper lifting techniques when lifting heavy materials or items Always wear your Personal Protective Equipment Work safely at all times Work together as a team Keep a good attitude. Help as needed to keep rig running efficiently and properly. Assist Operator Rep. if asked in whatever duties are needed. Report all accidents, incidents, and near misses to direct supervisor. If not sure on how to do something properly, ask for help and guidance. Always watch out for your fellow crewmembers and correct them if you see them doing something incorrectly. Do your best to keep all rig and location clean and organized at all times. Do whatever is asked of you to the best of your ability. Minimum years of experience: 2 Years of experience in drilling and workover operations or a demonstrated progression of relevant assignments. Qualifications: High School or Equivalent and above.
